You seem to usually do well at the swap Cap. Are you bring any new buys home with you today?

Well there was a trio of red gold pheasants, but I restrained myself! Not many vendors today, probably due to heat. One guy had some nice Swedish flower hen chicks, but I do not need another breed!

Down to one bantam cochin youngster left. Sold the CCL pullets and one roo. A friend bought 6 valley quail. Very pleased with the swap so far!

i'm going tomorrow to our swap, hoping i manage to sell a few, but not the cochins just yet, want to see how they turn out first

It's another short work day coming up for me, go in at 1:00 and get off around 6:00.

Sunday & Monday are my lonnnnnnng days, go in at 7am and get out around 6 or 7pm. And that's why I spend a lot of Tuesday (one of my days off) sleeping.

Sounds like my Monday and Tuesday coming up. Work all day at daycare Monday and mandatory 2 hour training meeting after. Tuesday at daycare all day and CPR training.

DMC, how's your job with the kiddos going?

I just about jogged out of there yesterday. I was scheduled until 5 but got to leave at 4:30 since there was more staff then needed for the kids that were left. I am hoping I get in with a lady thats an aide like me now but will be a teacher in September. I really like her and she’s very good with the kids. Right now things are chaotic and the children are NAUGHTY! I got head butted and kicked the other day. His brother was horrid yesterday, I had to have someone help me as he was out of control. One little boy got sent home for biting 4 kids, one kid twice. I’ve lasted longer then 3 days thoughI am so glad I’m not a para at the Elementary like I was wanting to do. I’d be with naughty children all day every day.

believe me, i've tried just about everything, only thing that works is either waiting it out or going to the dr to get the shot

I don’t think they need a reason, that’s just how some kids are. Some you can see come from disciplined homes, others not so much.

I’m afraid of them falling while they are trying to stand and walk. Some cry a lot!! There’s one baby that screeches when I walk through the room. Some do have teeth. I think they can stay in that room until about 15 months.
