The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning all! My goodness, you folks get up early around here! :bow

I was diagnosed with Lyme in 2010. It's the pits. Trust me. If you have it you will know it. Lordie I HATE ticks and Missouri must be their vacation area because you can't walk across the yard without getting one on you.

I keep telling DH we need Guineas. Lots and lots of Guineas.

[email protected] in a plated bone ain't good under any circumstances. Hope you get it checked out or at least call your ortho and report it. That way you can toss it into their hands whether to deal with it or ignore it.
morning mc, yes sometimes and some of us
the ticks are bad here in pa too this year, we've never had them up as far as the house but this year they are, even were in the greenhouse but i got bitten in florida over a year ago, hoping it didn't have lymes
i love guineas and had raised some but a neighbor pitched a b---h til i had to get rid of them to keep peace(she was a new person that moved out here from town)

I'll never understand town folks that move to the country and then complain about country things.

Are you sure you shouldn't have that checked out?

Good morning Sean, I would get that hip checked, popping doesn't sound good. Hugs.

Yeah, what they said!!! Kendra and I can vouch for what a PITA wheelchairs are. “Disabled access” my hiney! Most places just barely comply enough to keep the ADA off their backs.

@sharron, you might want to consider a bug net cap. Ken and I have them and they keep even tiny little bugs off our faces and necks. For some reason a bite anywhere around the face, especially the eyes, seems to react badly. The hats aren’t exactly a fashion statement, but who cares! We always have them when we go fishing or camping - not that we’ve been able to much of either the last few years.

Awww, Kitty Cat want Puppy Wuppy to get up and play so badly! Cool coloring on the cat - stark black and white from what could see, no gray or browns to detract from the contrast!

Kids started school yesterday. Evan is in his first year at the high school, Katie’s in her last year at the Middle School, and Kendra started 2nd grade. I’m getting so old! Landyn (Great-grandson) is in 1st grade already. I never imagined that I’d live this long, but I’m so grateful for every day of it! I figured my number would be called around 55 or so. Ma was gone at 58, my dad at 28, and Ma actually outlived every one of her siblings, most of whom didn’t make it out of their forties. I’ve been so blessed!

Just saw this and thought it was hilarious especially the last paragraph. :lau

Here’s a cute video of Hattie and Flash. He got his name due to he’s full speed ahead all the time.
He seems to be ignoring the reason for his name! Yeah cool coloring.

Oh well, not in anymore pain than usual, don't think it warrants going to the ER for a x-ray...I can still hobble so it has to still be intact...right?
WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAID!!!!
:gigdid I mention I'm moving and sold my freezer?
Um, I don't recall the moving and others beat me to the question about contents. So where are you moving to?

amen, her husband has friends (or maybe its the boys) that come out to visit and party and when they do , they leave tire marks on the road from the bottom of the first hill to the top of the second hill which is more than a quarter mile, its normally quite out here

believe it or not i have one of those that i normally wear when i know they're up, but when they're still in the pasture grass its safe not to wear it altho i have it on my head really to pull down, sometimes tho i get involved in gardening and they slip up on me before i know it i even have a light net "blouse" i wear for my arms but always spray my legs and ankles which doesn't stop the dogflies, they go right thru the bug spray:idunno
