Confession time: When he gave me my diamond, I said, “I’m not in love with you. I’m not even sure what that means. But if it’ll get me out of this town, I’ll go.” When we actually got married 11 months later, I still wasn’t sure, but my parents and siblings didn’t know that. He did. But he said later that the second day we spent together after we met, while we were at a family friend’s house, we were all having some sort of discussion....neither of us recall what it was now....and he realized that he was sitting with a girl who could carry on an intelligent and enjoyable conversation. He said I was also the first thing he’d seen with round eyes in a year. What a way to start a marriage, huh?

Definitely an interesting start!! But it sounds like it worked out for the best.

And @CapricornFarm blind date!? Wow that’s interesting. Glad it worked out!!

I always had my hot dogs on a rolled up piece of bread.

Although truth be told I do like hot dog rolls to make peanut butter and jelly or cream cheese and jelly sandwiches in them delicious, less mess ha

Sorry if I’ve posted this before.....I honestly don’t remember. But in honor of Kendra’s 8th birthday, I’m posting again. If miracles don’t exist, how can I explain how one little girl can go from surgery at just a few hours old to sitting a horse like a pro in only 8 short years? There are much bigger forces at work here than I can even fathom.

Lunch today. Which I realize looks almost identical to dinner last night but this time it’s regular burger instead of bison burger and also I steamed the kale instead of sautéing it. And also I didn’t burn anything this time



Oh and also I forget if I already posted this here? I don’t think so? I meant to and did on other sites but I think I forgot here haha but this was my harvest today. Yes just today. Sooooo many cucumbers LOL
