Fiona met one of the chicks. Sorry about the weather report - Ken was watching the news.
i have no idea, mil used to say they do well in the worst ground in the garden but to be honest, i've had them do well all over the garden, so who knows, we use animal fertilizer every fall when we put the garden to bed, what kind depends on what animals we have, aged horse seems to be the best i also start all my veggies myself from seed altho this year i did buy some herbs from the auction, that also included some tomato plants that i decided to see what they were, most of those i gave away to anyone who wanted them, did keep a couple of ones we had never heard of beforeOh my goodness! I've tried so many times to grow green peppers. I can't get them to decent size for nothing. What's your secret? Those are beautiful!
Nice my hiney... she was scared spitless!!![]()

my bulldog thinks she has to check the incubator with me, she puts her face right up to the plexi-glass and tries to sniff, when one hatches she goes crazy trying to get to it, but shes so graceful i'm afraid to let her near them, she has feet like a horse and like i said, gracefulDefinitelyShe's a good one!
