Yes, yes, yes!!!! Have a wonderful time! Fall colors seem to be a bit delayed here, too. I was gonna see if I could talk Ken into a drive up the mountains today - not just a fast one-point-to-the-other drive over, but a leisurely wander around. But then he started grousing about having to drive over on Thursday when Grand Sessions kicks off, so I thought better of it. I think he’s about over driving, period.

I see you have to spend part of the day in the salt mines. You have my sympathy. I do too. But at least it's a short one for me, tomorrow is the start of the long ones.

Can I say for the millionth time, I'll be so glad when this season is over & done with! I think I might have to throw myself a celebration

No work here, but those of you who have to gave my heartfelt sympathy. It sure is nice here not to be in continual “rush mode.”

Debby, did you hear that you lost your chance to buy the Monster Lake Ranch near Cody? Yep, the asking price was 14 million dollars, but they came down a bit on that. Kanye West bought it. I sure can’t imagine Kim Kardashian living out here.....one winter and she’ll be gone!!

I've said plenty, probably more often that was a good idea. But every time he ends up short staffed, I end up pitching in to fill in the gaps because I want to help him out.

Yep. Can you see either of them running the Monster Lake Resort? Some of the finest trout fishing in the state, restaurant (I thought you’d be so good at running that!) and cabins, not to mention the remarkable scenery. You shouldda saved your tips faster....you were only a couple of million short!!

Story of my life...a day late and 2 million short.

Well, who knows? Maybe they’ll end up being really good neighbors. Jackson certainly didn’t collapse when Harrison Ford bought a place there - he’s become a vital part of the community....he even rescued some hikers stranded on Grand Teton. I’ve seen him there a couple of times during the “off tourist” season just shopping or having lunch with friends. (In Jackson the off season is anytime that isn’t spring when the mountains are at their scenic best and the wildlife are giving birth to their little ones, or summer when half of the free world is on vacation, or fall when the aspens set fire to the landscape with their colors, or winter when the ski resorts are bulging. So that would be February and a week in November. )
