oh wow, the worse pain i've had in a accident was when a 1100 lb horse went over backward on me, and that pain doesn't even come close to those pains
I had a 2000lb bull crush my ankle, same leg...I walked a little ways before I realized it was all broken! That was the first time I ever had broken a bone, was 13. Also, the first time the doc told me I'd never walk again. Wrong answer doc!

oh man, thank goodness i've never had a broken bone, a fractured hip (horse) but no broken bones, momma always said God takes care of fools and drunks (i'm neither) but he also takes care of kids

you are lucky you didnt break your pelvis.... I have had them go down sideways One bolted and we were on a dirt road I was able to turn her away from the highway but she slipped and fell and got up to run some more... I kept hold of the reins. Thank good ness.

The other time I was trying to teach flying leads to my colt... He was three but I started him slowly... I finally got the Idea and the dry ground we were on was an illusion Gooy slippery mud was under neath... Down we went and I hit the bottom rail of the arena and it snapped I went through.

Didnt hold the reins that time but he was a good boy and stood there Like Whatcha doin down there ma....

i ended up in the er, they then put me in a helicopter and sent me to pittsburgh, they thought my spine was broken even tho i told them i was ok, they didn't take my word for it, either that or they needed the money , people know their own bodies
sometimes being over weight does come in handy:gig
so how are you doing deb?

afternoon debby, i forgot this morning to say hi before i went to the garden, i'm getting forgetful in my old age, then when i came in i peeled some white peaches and made a cobbler to go with fried chicken and the last of our ear corn and our tomato salad

Do you have a peach tree Sharron? Your dinner sounds good!

Those were some serious accidents Deb. We had horses growing up. I liked them but after some injuries (broken wrist once and another time a leg sliced open knee to ankle), I figured out smaller animals were better for me to deal with.

Still find them beautiful animals though...I can see why you still have yours!
