I thought cats didn’t like waterThis is the craziest kitten. He chases the chickens and makes them squawk too. Hubby is trying to get it on video.
I don't think I've ever had a cat that did before this guy. Opie even likes to take naps in the tub.

I had a cat that was so relaxed in the water I had to hold her head up. She just floated.I don't think I've ever had a cat that did before this guy. Opie even likes to take naps in the tub.

Guess I roasted all my chicks then! I have a cardboard box that with the flaps taped open is tall enough the chicks can't get out even from the top of the MHP cave (I suppose you have heard of thoseTotally enclosed spaces mean the chicks can’t see us approaching, and the bottom gets soggy and wet. And only having an opening at the top means little air circulation....as my friend @Lazygardener says it’s like putting them in an Easy Bake Oven. But Ken says they’ll only be inside for the first day or so, and we can just pitch the box when they move outside.
I think generically something has to be 100 years to be antique. One exception is cars and I really think they need to change it. 50 year old cars are old but no more antique than a 50 year old sofa.Theres so many different ones, ugh! I see it’s electric so probably not worth much. I saw somewhere it had to be before 1900 to be an antique.
Musta been fun for his superior officers in the Navy!DH is a handful...he's way too smart for his own good, has no patience, is opinionated and can be hard to deal with.
If that is the original case, it was made with the motor. Bet my friend that took up sewing machine repair as a retirement job would like to mess with that Singer. Some came with electric motors, others were treadle machines retrofitted with the motors later. My electric was manufactured with the motor.
Now see, that is odd to me. In the past week or so I've seen 2 things that say you have to blanch it for 6 minutes before you freeze it (though they were cutting off the kernels after blanching so maybe that makes a difference). We only steam whole ears for 6 minutes, then they are done, don't know how boiling them that long is a "blanch".I love how he preps his sweet corn. He just husks it, puts a few ears in his Food Saver bags with four tablespoons of butter (depending on how many ears he has in the bag) and pops them in the freezer.
TRYING to catch up!!

OK, back to reading so I can see Blooie's chicks!
