Just started laundry, which is a never ending job. I think I have to give hubby a ride or 2 today. He talked about moving to another farm to pick corn.

I've decided I've lived in WY too long...it's 35* this morning and it feels comfortable. What's happened to me?!?

DMC, you're spot on with laundry being a never ending job. That's one thing I need to tackle today. And grocery shopping. I've put that off for 2 days but it's supposed to get cold & possibly snowy Sunday/Monday so no more putting it off.

Are any of you still getting eggs from your flocks? My girls haven't provided an egg for the past 5-6 days...guess they've declared their winter hiatus.

I'm already missing my "homegrown" eggs, but the ladies deserve their rest.

I’m getting one a day from my new Leghorn puppet. Was getting one from my older EE but she quit maybe a week or two ago. The leghorn only started about 3 weeks ago (as of tomorrow) but she’s been reliably laying every single day.

I think she took maybe one day off right when she first started and maybe one other but otherwise, every single day.

Good sized ones too!!
