Maybe they should change the Trick or Treat/Trunk or Treat celebration day to the last Friday in October. Save a lot of teachers and daycare providers!

There was some town here that wanted to move Halloween to the last Saturday in October. I think it’s kind of a good idea. But then of course there were some parents that were like you can’t change it, Halloween is Halloween, it’s a tradition, always been on the 31st, etc., which is also true and also good point, but I think having it on a weekend is a much better idea and much safer and more fun for everyone. But then again teenagers are also more likely to be out and/or more crazy on the weekends. So idk. Good points on both sides ha idk if the town ever changed it or not. I don’t think it was an official rule or bill or anything, just more of a suggestion

It is 68° and raining here, no fire. Why do you live where it is so cold in October?
(I'll not mention that it is going to be just below freezing Sat morning and nothing warmer than high 40°'s in the next 6 days and probably not too often for the next 4 months)

Counting to 10 never helped me. I used to tell my son, I'm going for a walk. He'd cry and I told him,"just walking on the driveway (in the cold) you can watch me through the glass in the door."

Good morning everyone

well today should be fun since we have a special activity day and parents will stick around all morning. The plan is for parents to eat lunch after and take children home more time to get ready for Halloween
We already know that they will come in Friday full of candy

You and I will have the same kind of day tomorrow!

I don't think 10 would be a high enough number for me

But it's a good thing there are people like you and DMC that are willing and able to work with the kids.

I have thought about quitting many times. I love the director, it’s the only reason I’m hanging in there. I asked her to fire me...she won’t.
