4 chicks have hatched so far. One yesterday (overachiever LOL) and three today. Still 6 more eggs left in the incubator and 2 externally pipped that I can see.

Unloaded three bags of feed today from the truck and the Mule hauled them down to Turkey Town. The chickens were happy to get more feed. Seems like there is an upswing in laying. Of course, it was 60! and sunny.

Dang! Mine stopped laying altogether 2 weeks ago.
Going to have to buy eggs for the 1st time in years.

Hey NFC. Gotta get out there and do chores. Then I want to work on the roof to the run. Oh yes, and I have to figure out what to do next in tanning that hide.

I believe in letting nature controlling things, but dang. I'll miss my eggs.

Remind me of this in the spring when I start complaining about too many eggs. I've got 20 hens & 50 pullets.
