The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone! You all got a head start on the day.

Pretty picture Sean! We're at 35* now with an expected high of 38* Maybe more snow tonight.
morning debby:frow
they say its 39* here but i don't believe them, i just went outside and i have on a sleeveless blouse and a pair of shorts, wasn't a bit cold:idunno, suppose to go to 69* today

I love sunrises so bring them on!

If this snow misses us, they're predicting more this coming Friday & Saturday & Sunday. Guess we're going to get some rather we like it or not. It does make it more difficult for me to limp around out there. DH does as much as he can but I take care of the flock.
i agree, bring them on

Good morning everyone!

Chilly morning, 44°, sunny, a few clouds. Light ground fog.

We are in for 3-6” tonight, yuck! Blowing and drifting to go with it. The other day it was really nice out during the day then the wind picked up and blew snow on the roads and it got icy. 2 miles East of us someone put their vehicle in the yard of a lady I clean for and the same night straight North of us 1/2 a mile someone rolled their vehicle. I could see 4 police vehicles lit up through my trees while washing dishes. It seems people need to learn to drive again when Winter hits.
Morning Debby, y'all are probably getting tired of seeing sunrises from Texas, huh? Almost every morning is like this unless it's raining!
Hope y'all don't get too much snow but any snow is too much. :D
Never too many sunrises!
:yesss:

What's a "DH"
I think dear husband...

What's a "DH"
DH - Dear Husband
DW - Dear Wife
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son

I installed a wood burning furnace.
I'd mostly be concerned about the chimney for the furnace. No huge problem if you have a small leak in the ductwork. Did you use the metal tape? Duct tape is (despite its name) really not good for sealing ducts.

I can not drive 600 miles one way every day or week, maybe once or twice a month to keep abreast of the situation.
600 miles?? That is all the way to DD1 at college, we take 2 days each direction.

he said ONLY if the driver shows up:confused:
Well THAT is reasonable since I doubt they give the key to just anyone on the bus. But if the driver doesn't show up reliably, his ask needs to get replaced as well.

Hope y'all don't get too much snow but any snow is too much. :D
Though it is much preferable to rain when the ground is frozen. And we are getting rain all day tomorrow. I've not moved the snow so HOPEFULLY we won't end up with an ice rink.

I guess you are still acclimated to the northern climate. I bet the neighbors were saying "Sharron must be suffering from dementia or something, look how she's dressed!"

gorgeous sun rise Sean but, you know that. What camera do you have? My two* are over 12 years old(used heavily) and have given up the ghost. I have to get serious about getting a new one.

I have a Canon and a Fuji, Fuji was better. Many years ago had a Minolta AFTele, fast lens, the best pictures I ever got - over used it till they couldn't fix anymore.
