That was a good sized lake Sharron. Too bad you can't fish in it this year.

i've been up since 5:30 but was busy in the kitchen making a beef stew and out in the greenhouse checking my plants

Have you ever had any luck starting something with apple seeds? I've tried in the past and never could get them to grow.

hi debby, this is my first time with trying to start apple seeds, they've just started putting out the little green sprout so will see how it goes, sure hope i can get the hang of it, we have a old apple tree at home thats at least a hundred years old that i would love to have another one like it, everything and i mean everything loves this apple and i don't know what kind it is but its yellow and usually the first apple to get ripe, small apple but sooooo good and i was never an apple eater, its old like i said, fil was going to cut it down many years ago cause it split down the middle it was so heavy with apples, i talked him out of it since it still had a few limbs alive, its not pretty but it puts out more apples than the so good apple trees

husband went for a walk this morning and a new neighbor down the road flagged him down and they started talking and he told husband they're suppose to refill it this coming jan., that would be nice, along with stocking some fish, it will take awhile before any come out of the big lake to come in

me too cap, i plant seeds one day and start checking two to three times a day to see if they've sprouted yet

Given the height of the buildings on the far shore, looks like it is really shallow even when it is full, just a wide flat expanse.
