I wish I had the magic formula Sharron. If I did we'd all be winners!

we used to play every week, we would stop on the way home at johns gas station, he also sold lottery tickets, husband won a couple of times $500 and i sometimes won on the three numbers but never enough for us to retire, then john closed the station and we quit playing, and you know, if you don't play you can't win

yes, hands are cold again, but now have electric back, thought they would never get it done but now husband is starting the pellet stove again and i'm going to start dinner so will be warm in here shortly

Good morning everyone. It's a gorgeous morning here. The sun is out, and the crystal palace is sparkling. Hopefully the ice will fall off the trees before the wind picks up tonight. Last night I helped the neighbor remove a fallen tree from his lane. During the process he told me that a tree in his yard (He lives a quarter mile back from the road) had fallen and taken out the power to his house. Around 9 PM there were two guys with lights stumbling around my front yard. When I went out they asked, "Are you Richard K?" I told them across the road and down that lane to Richard's house.



Time has taught me that medicine is not an exact science - sadly.

If I remember correctly (always iffy), you have a generator standing by, right?

Oh yeah generator and 500 gallon propane tank. Sandy, 10 days + with no power and the year before with the same scenario convinced us that it would be a good idea to install a large generator. It was a major hassle getting gasoline during those two extended outages, and I smell bad after 3 days of no washing.

I do the same thing when I'm in pain....can't sleep so might as well get up and be miserable rather than laying in bed and being miserable.

Yep Yep Yep.... I get up to take Pain pills. Not as bad of pain as I am sure you or NFC have... But I been doing this for thirty years now.
