The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning again to everyone!

Love hearing all the garden talk, I'm really looking forward to being able to have a garden again.

I've heard several things the foot problem "might" be, but no one seems to agree so no real treatment yet. I've been told to make an appointment with doctor #4, just too early to call them yet.
when you find out something, please tell us first thing
and i love talking gardening, wish i could work in the garden all year but that isn't going to happen

I had a missed call from Russia the other day. I did not return the call.
 You could have had MILLIONS that the lawyer for your recently deceased long lost relative was going to give you. All you would have to do is send money to pay the taxes ;)

I bought this and refinished it but don’t know what it is. Could it be a washstand? I know it’s missing something as there’s a ledge on the back for it.
Looks like many washstands I find with a Google search, just needs the hanging bar on the back.

just fine, just finished my second cup of coffee so ready to go
husband wants to go get the lumber for the sea wall and i have to go, i carry the money:lol: (he tends to lose his wallet all the time)
Plus when you go you can head him off before he gets to the power tool section.

Getting up late after a cold night, 28° here last night.:thhaving my 1st cup of coffee and deciding what to do today?
-7.4°F here this morning at 7:30. Two of the pullets had already laid and it wasn't much past sunrise.

I'd take your lows too
As your HIGHS!

Morning Bruce, hope it warms up at least a little bit for you today!

:frow Morning Sharron!
These temps are "cold" for us but compared to the rest of the country...I'll take "our" lows!
amen sean, i had on sweat pants, light weight sweater when i went with husband to get boards to redo the sea wall, couldn't wait to get home and put my shorts back on, along with sleeveless blouse:lol: just can't take the heat or really, really cold anymore tho, called old age:gig

It has, it is 5 above now ;)

Found an egg in the center open box that I put hay in last week thinking Aurora was in the hay feeder because she preferred hay to pine shavings. It was very cold but not cracked. Not sure how long it has been there but I'm guessing not overnight given the temps, it would have frozen and cracked. Aurora has not laid other than in the closed community box since I trapped her and Daisy in the coop the day I found them in the hay feeders. Guess pine shavings are OK after all.

And .... the plastic egg that was in the closed community box is missing! I had a cherry wood egg I had made in there until a few weeks ago when it went missing. Neither were on the floor of the coop. I'm very confused.

Yep, :lau I keep my house at or around 80°F year round. On cold mornings like this it's nice and "toasty", when its 105°F or hotter....80°F feels cool!
