If I didn't have so many critters, we might be snow birds too. I do miss my grandkids in FL.i'm a snow bird cap, when we retired, came home to my home state and bought a little place on a lake so we could fish when we wanted to, altho not this year, they drained the lake for some reason?
but yes i do check the weather in pa, checking on son's problems with the weather
Happy new decade all! We even get an extra day in February.
Since the 90's! My Dr. Put me on it when I was diagnosed with Fibro. What he said made sense. . It's depressing to be in pain almost every day, so when we finally figure out patients with this, we put them on something. Took a couple of different tries, this one works best.CYN how long have you been on Celexa? I've been on the generic which doesn't work as well. With real Celexa I was on 10 mg. Then insurance changed to the generic and some idiot dr. upped it to 40 mg. Much too high for a senior. But didn't cause any problems - probably because I was so used to it.
I"m cutting back- taking half a pill(20 mg.) per day, and just about to change to 20mg every other day. I've been on other SSRI but, none of them worked - only Celexa. The dr. put several of his patients on it and I'm the only one it helped.
NEVER have the placebo effect because I NEVER believe any med. will help. When I notice things have been much better, THEN I admit the meds work.
I was forgetting to take the pill often just because I am forgetful period. Because of this I don't think I need it anymore. I outlived two psychiatrists (partners) so I've been on my own. Another thing I have noticed as I get older - I don't have the energy to "fall apart," so it just doesn't happen.
i understand that cap, i raised hookbills for over thirty years, the first winter my son and gd took care of my animals(had three cows too) and my chickens, sold everything after that winter but personal birds and they came with us, i got some chickens the following year, now i pay a friend to babysit my chickens and husband got kune-kunes last summer, again son and gd are taking care of them(mostly son) but hes well paid altho if we didn't pay him he would still take care of them so believe me i understandIf I didn't have so many critters, we might be snow birds too. I do miss my grandkids in FL.
