I hope she keeps away from them this time. Could be she'll get a cone of shame.
Us too!! I had to stay with Frank while DB rushed her in. It happened this afternoon and he had to leave her there and go pick her up a few hours later because she had to be put under to fix it. She tore every single one out. Wide ope. Not sure how she did it. But Frank was really excited to see me and jumping all over so he probably scratched her. Noticed when I suddenly had blood all over my coat.
Called the vet and they could see her right away thankfully so he wrapped her neck up as best he could and rushed her in.
Vet is about half hour away so I was with Frank a couple hours.
She is
definitely wearing a cone now.
They had bought one but she hasn’t been wearing it. When I watched her Monday she was just wrapped in a t shirt bandana type thing. Today she was wearing nothing because I guess the vet wanted it to air out/dry or something.
I think she just had her drain removed either yesterday or today. It was there Monday so not entirely sure when. So she was just at the vet to get that taken out and then this happens and rushed back!
So from now on cone 24/7 according to vet. But DB says they’ll take it off for her to eat but otherwise cone of shame all the time. She won’t be happy but better than more vet bills!
DB also said he was gonna ask for stronger sedatives.
Way too much energy still.
And of course Frank wants to play play play but is good about leaving her alone.
But I swear this is the most expensive dog. She has had so many weird medical things and injuries.
