How long have you been retired? I remember having "work dreams" for some time. Fortunately not lately.

Taxes, yeah that is upon us. Ugh

since 2012 last day in dec. if husband hadn't been hurt, we would probably have worked it til 15 or 16 when i was able to draw ss, was a family owned business and like a stupid idiot i never paid myself, everything went back into the business, started paying myself finally but still didn't have enough credits when husband got hurt, live and learn . i did all the book work, billing, payroll(had three, four crews) paying the bills and what i hated the most, quarterly taxes and then the taxes for the year( never had to pay that, always paid enough on the quarterlys to cover the year. those taxes are what i have nightmares about

Being self-employed is a tough row to hoe. I'm glad you're out of that now Sharron.

salems lot, had read the book , son was about 13 years old, he rented the movie , had a friend over to spend the night and they were watching on my bed while i was reading, then the boy sat up in the coffin and hissed is when i said, shut it off and go to the living room if your want to finish watching it. i know theres no such thing as a vampire but a little voice in my brain says, what if there is, yep, salems lot is the one that scares me

I had a hard time quitting on her. She’s treated me very well in the last 7 years. I’m dropping cleaning jobs and doing more daycare...more stress?? The new teachers kid is in our room and he bawls all day. If he don’t quit soon we are going to lose our minds.

We had non-stop snow last winter and rain all summer and fall. I understand how you ladies feel. My sister is going to Florida in February. My son is going with his girlfriend the end of February. I hope the weather is nice for them.

It’s been a winter wonderland the last couple days. Its hard to capture how pretty it was in every grove on the way to town. These are ours and our neighbors.

Some things I know that I don't want to know. The mental computer is still open to knowledge, but seems to be somewhat short on retention.

DMC I think you should stuff into a suitcase and go along on one of those FL trips. Find yourself a palm tree, a Pina colada and some relaxing music...you've earned it!
