I've been shoveling (our) end of the street for 50 years. Apparently snow blow drivers don't believe anyone lives in the last house on the block. It must just be an illusion. I go and chew them out and ask if they would treat their grandmother like that. The shaming usually ends with them doing some minimal snow removal but, still a a lot left for me.

PS with my orange tinted ski goggles, face mask, mad bomber hat, etc. etc. they aren't sure what they are dealing with .

I have forgotten what a lovely hot bath is like. The price of using Chicago water from Lake Michigan is too much for a bath. Have to take hurry-up showers/shampoo
