its different for different people, my way is a tbs butter, mct oil frothed in with the coffee, i also add in my collegen at the same time, some people add in heavy cream and sweetner, me i don't care for sweetened coffee, tea yes but not coffee but before i started with the keto i always drank coffee black and the stronger the better(daddy coming out in me)

I'm the same. Hot tea with honey, iced tea unsweetened & coffee black, dark & bold.

Good morning again everyone!

We were supposed to have a cold clear day...it's cold alright, but snowing! Crazy white stuff sneaked past all the predictions.

We're supposed to get snow starting this afternoon. Luckily not too much 5-10cm (2-4 in).
The weather is so weird here this winter. Temps have been hovering around freezing or above for a few weeks now, with the next 2 weeks about the same (except Wednesday, where the high will be about -11c).

We've been having a terrible run on break ins around here.
Last week someone's truck got broken into, & someone else had his home broken into. The next night they hit a few more houses. One woman even woke up to someone shining a flashlight in her face! The next afternoon the RCMP found someone hiding in a shed & had the dogs out trying to find 2 more men. They didn't catch them. That was about 1km north of me.

The night before last they hit about 6km south of me. They robbed a house & stole a jeep. They rammed the gate of another place and stole a bunch of stuff from there.

I have a bradley electric smoker It sits inside a little building that looks a LOT like an outhouse. DS started a fire in it a couple of years ago by accident, but it did a lot of damage.

I have a bradley electric smoker It sits inside a little building that looks a LOT like an outhouse. DS started a fire in it a couple of years ago by accident, but it did a lot of damage.

I bought a charcoal smoker last year. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. When we butchered our pigs, our neighbour told us that bacon was brined like ham & then smoked. It just tastes like ham. I'm going to try soaking it, then dry rub cure it & smoking it. Hopefully it will work.
