Snowy here. Really heavy in intervals. Probably about 3" so far. Luckily it's only -1c with no wind. Of course I have to go to town today.

Oh and I think DB was right about his breed being at least part Newfoundland. We (myself, SIL,& dad) were thinking Border Collie but he’s got super thick legs and, most importantly, tight, webbed feet

Yep, all downhill (or maybe flat) from there!

they want him to take a fitting for his thingy that keeps him from grinding his teeth, have his teeth cleaned and something else, but husband told them no, which dentist 's wife didn't believe him and set him up for all of this, they're trying to get 5,000. out of him

$5K? That "something else" must be quite something because the other 2 aren't all that expensive.

Darn it! I wish I wouldn't have just looked at our temperature...it's -8*. Now I really feel cold.

That is because -8°F IS cold!

But be forewarned....there will times you might regret that!

Nope. Sad if things aren't going well but I'll never regret hearing how you and the family are doing. No news isn't necessarily good news!

Good morning!!! The sun is shining, the breeze is down to 20mph, and I get to keep Kendra for a couple of hours today. Her new phrase is “What the heck was that” every time something happens.

It’s so good to be with all of you again, and to be free to talk about what’s been going on. But be forewarned....there will times you might regret that!

I’m so far behind that I’m almost afraid to ask after everyone for fear of sticking my foot in my mouth. “How’s the new house coming?” “Oh, it burned down.” Oops. See what I mean?

So I’ll just observe for awhile and learn by osmosis what everyone is up to unless you want to fill me in on stuff.

B, you've been missed so much. Whether you're sunny or not, we're all glad to have you here with us

We're doing pretty well down here. DH is still working on the Casper house (funny how everything costs more and takes longer than you think it will). But it's shaping up nicely, lots of loose ends to complete and the bath is the last big job.

Oh and remember "Frankenfoot"? Guess I'm Mrs. Frankenfoot now...been having some issues and am going to be outfitted with a foot brace to hopefully fix things.

Other than that, just a snow winter in south WY!

I love them so much! But little Ikey is gonna be trouble!! LOL he and Libby dug under the fence the other day to play with their friend next door and he was digging in the dirt a bit yesterday Libby is apparently teaching him how to be bad.

But he’s also soooo sweet

Very true!!

So funny cause he follows Franklin around too and learns how to be a little angel. Sits for pictures, comes in the house when he’s told. Then he follows Libby around and learns to be naughty.

Debby, you need monogrammed pillowcases and towels for your new Casper house......Mr. Frankenfoot and Mrs. Frankenfoot! The family that limps together.... tee hee! What’s going on with your foot? Same thing that the Mr. had done? Bunions? Plantar fasciitis? Or just on them too much and you beat the stuffing out of them?

Jenny had a seizure at work two weeks ago and hit the floor - with her face. She broke her eye socket. She’s a mess! So I had her and the girls for a few days because she can’t be left alone after hers....she’s just out there. Doesn’t remember her name, just sits with this glazed look trying to understand what’s going on around her. So she wouldn’t be able to take care of herself let alone Kendra’s medical issues. Katie is a big help now that she can cath Kendra and give Kendra her meds, but watching Jenny and Kendra is a lot to ask of her. She babysits Kendra for a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays until Kenny gets home from work, and It’s working out real well. But not in this situation.



Kendra’s aide Keesha took her ice skating with her family! It was a mad scramble to find Kendra enough winter clothes. She usually just gets put in her wheelchair and goes from the house to the car to school or the store and then back to the car. This was a whole new experience for her and she absolutely loved it! And a few weeks later Kendra went on the class field trip down to tour the courthouse in Basin (not real thrilling for her) followed by a trip to to Greybull Roller Rink. She and the kids had a blast!! Keesha is the best thing that ever happened to Kendra. And Kendra has the best classmates on the planet!!
