So the last time we cleaned it I put a piece of good old Press ‘n’ Seal over it. it worked!!

I have a different solution - no electronics on the cook stove! There are, of course, on the wall oven and the microwave.

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes. I'm feeling good enough to tolerate low sound and light so hopefully I'll get to eat something and sleep all night. Will get caught up tomorrow but you all have a great evening!

Bruce, that ain’t fair!!

It came with the house, 1931 cast into each of the 4 cast iron legs so I think we have a good idea when it was made. One of the few things I like The 2 basin porcelain on cast iron sink to the left is another. Original brass drain flanges too. The propane control knobs on the stove aren't original. I have one of the porcelain originals, now if I could find someone who could make me some replicas instead of those cheap plastic "current type" things.
