Thanks, Debby. I was a little stunned by the gift. Our waitress took the photo for us. I think I need to hire her to follow me around and just take pictures of stuff and folks for me! :lau

Somedays you aren’t far off, Bruce! But I was a good girl today. I had grilled salmon, a “fork dip” salad, and I had a piece off Ken’s baked potato instead of ordering one for myself. Texas Roadhouse is not a restaurant for the renally impaired! :he But it was nice anyway!

I about dropped my teeth when Ken insisted on splurging for a 1 1/2 carat diamond ring! Wayyyy, way more than I planned for us to spend for that topaz bracelet! But he said has been wanting to do something extra special for me for the support during his years in the Grand Line, especially the Grand Master year, so I had a choice - I could get a new diamond ring now or he’d just get it next week. Those were my only options. So I went and sat in the Food Court at the mall while he did his shopping thing. The ring is made by - get this - “Ever Us”, and I think I’m as in love with the box as I am the ring. It’s a leather box that says “Ever Us” on the top clasp. It opens out like a book. One side says, “Best Friend” and the other side says, “True Love”. Ain’t that the schmaltziest thing ever?

Then I bought him a pair of shoes. Hey, I was more broker than he was!

This is not the weather for cuddling anything - even cute little fluffles. It's particularly horribly hot and humid today.

There are four chicks now - all different colours. One tuxedo, one gold, one white and one wild (which is nice as we haven't had one that colour for awhile now).

I'm trying your pizza recipe tonight @N F C . The dough has been sitting in the fridge for a few days now. :drool Can't wait!
