The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

But they do allow things that can be converted to a chicken coop by clever people.

It has been a long winter, even though I've done my best to spread it around & share it :gig
And you have NO idea how much we appreciate that!
(in this case "much" isn't an indicator of a large quantity)

We are finally seeing black dirt and gravel.
What is black dirt and gravel??

It’s only a 9x9 room....how much can it hold?

Good morning everyone. :frow Bright, clear and cold right now , but supposed to reach the mid 40's this afternoon.
:frow Good afternoon Sour, have a great day
Good morning, everyone! :frow

I could be....one can only hope! Looks like I-80 is in for another shutdown! Well, they were warned when they built it. <sigh>

Jae, variety is the spice of life! It’s downright spicy at your place right now! Hot and humid or not, I’d still have a hard time resisting.

We got 100% for the first time yesterday! 11 chickens, 11 eggs! But man, I wish they’d hurry up and get past the pullet egg stage.

After feeling like a princess yesterday, it’s back to the grind today. We have got to finish that office and get it converted to a bedroom. Remember last year when I cleaned it up all pretty? It took him 2 weeks to trash it again. I won $20.00 from Tam....she gave him two months, I gave him 2 weeks until it was a pit again. I complained repeatedly, so he just fixed the door and closed it so I wouldn't have to see it when I walked past. Gee, thanks! When we started cleaning it out this time, I was ruthless. I had to be - it looked worse now than it did before I cleaned it last time. And I’ll continue to be ruthless until we can walk in it without doing all the little sidesteps. It’s only a 9x9 room....how much can it hold?

So it’ll be an “on and off” kinda day again today. After yesterday’s gorgeous weather, I won’t be surprised to see at least some flurries today. The sky just has that look. Off to get dressed and busy! Later!
:frow Good afternoon Blooie, have a great day
I’ve heard that.
There's a world of difference, bigger generally equals smoother ride. I've flown in Sea planes, small Cessna's, F-4, F-16 and all manner of heavies. My favorite's remain the 747 and DC-10. But airbus does makes some decent comfortable birds too. I also avoid CRJs. What I hate about flying is the cattle car mentality that the airlines have devolved to and tiny seats. I'm a big buy and almost always get stuck in the center seat with two other big guys. When I was running back and forth between DC and Chicago, I figured out I could have a much more comfortable ride, if I took the train and the time difference wasn't that significant, but on the train I got a good night's sleep.
Well, the weather dudes were not wrong this time. Glad I got my outdoor chores done early.
So sorry Debby, glad you got your outdoor chores done. :hugs

I much dislike those "features" as well. Not real big but 6'2" tall means lack of legroom is an issue. But even then the seats are too narrow for my shoulders ... and those of my wife as well. Lately I have been lucky with "seatmates" not being large. Best bet is to fly somewhere with my older daughter - 5' not quite 2" and 105 pounds on a real heavy day :D

My preference is Jet Blue. They have a bit more legroom (and for $ you can get a seat with even more) and entertainment screens in the back of every seat. Last time I flew on United I was not aware that they had changed to "bring your own device with a screen and Bluetooth or read the Horizons magazine for HOURS". They don't even have music you can listen to without a "device"

Going to have a hard time find a DC-10 to fly on ;) Not sure I was ever on one though I suppose I could have been.

Not sure about the 747s, do they fly anything but trans ocean routes?

Good afternoon everyone! :frow

Been a "fun filled" morning, right Debby! :gig

Blooie - a 9'x9' room can hold a 12'x12' worth of stuff! :lau

I'm glad my days of flying are over! ....every week for 8 years was flying from one job site to another (before 911). It gets old! except when the destination was Hawaii or Johnston Atoll. :D
