I am ok, It's my oldest son's birthday today!

They've closed the schools here in my area until the middle of April. I guess I'll be keeping my grandkids because their parents work. The governor decided yesterday to close the ski resorts for the season. People around here are genuinely scared.

What’s scaring me is the hoarding that is happening due to the fear.

It's the crazy people panicking that bothers me more than the actual sickness.

Our schools were closing a week early anyway as they are going to be starting construction so it won’t affect us this year. Maybe they will do some virtual days.

My son just left for Walmart...should be interesting. I told him to get me milk bread and eggs if there was any left.

Our schools are prepared for virtual classrooms. They put out a notice for any kids without internet service to contact the schools, but in our small community everyone pretty much has internet - well, except Kenny and Jenny sometimes if the cable bill didn’t get paid. But they’re sitting fine at the moment, and Katie can always come here. We don’t even have to be home - she knows how it all works.
