The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I get the next two weeks off. The teacher I work with texted me that she is quarantined for the next 14 days. She took her baby to the ER last night and they think she has the virus. She said it hit very quickly. She tested negative for RSV, Strep and Influenza. She said baby is doing ok this morning. Four infants were sent home this morning as soon as they got to daycare as they had temperatures when they were checked.

I'll find out next week if you will reopen or not. Right now we are going in once a week to check in with families. Hope the teacher and baby are okay 🙏
Please stay safe

It’s scary! If she has it we’ve all been exposed and I brought it home to my family. It sounds like diarrhea is a new underlying symptom.

probably, they hoard tpaper and they can't eat that, theres even a thing on the net about what kind of leaves to use, getting crazy out there
That could be a serious problem here! The only "leaves" around are pine needles.

Hi Bruce! Maybe they are...I've always seen some type of potatoes at the grocery store in the past.
Then why couldn't you make mashed potatoes? Please don't tell me that a cook with your skills makes them from a box

I can't believe the number who are getting birds because of the virus.
I wonder how many of them know they'll be waiting 5+ months before they start getting anything they can eat ... unless they are getting meat birds of course. Then they only have to wait 2 months for dinner.

Why would that be the case if it wasn't for the past 3 months? Maybe they have a different disease.

No idea. That’s just what I was told. She had breathing problems and a high temp also.

A fair percentage have diarrhea, but respiratory failure is more critical so you hear more about that.
