thanks debby but no, she or he is in se pa and i'm in sw plus i have nothing she's interested in and right now as you know, everything is locked down here and i don't want to travel BUT i thank you for the thought

i'm hoping it will get warmer, right now its 45 but suppose to go up to 57, its warm enough here that the dandelions are starting to bloom, going to have a mess for dinner, picked them yesterday evening, we like the dandelions wilted, mil used to fry the blooms in pancake batter but we prefer the greens:drool

Do you prepare a sweet/sour dressing for them ? Way back when the Pa. beagle clubs used to serve wilted dandelion salads with lunch - great dressing. Do you have a recipe ?

i think i do sour, i just cooked a few slices of bacon for the start of it. looking for my recipe now as its seasonable
