Until a few weeks ago $2.29/gallon would have been cheap here! I got gas Thursday last week for $1.94, gas is $0.05 off on Thursdays.


Don't bet on it. One of the reasons it is so cheap is because no one is driving. The polluted air in big cities is clearing! Soon as everyone goes back to "normal" gas will go up. Too bade we don't all have buried 500 gallon tanks we could fill. Of course it would be real stale by the time I used it up.

My understanding is that when Bend, OR was settled the prior few years had been bumper crop for rain so it looked fertile. Then they found out they created a town in a near desert. Oh well, too late to change that!

What's a vacation???

The only one I ever had in my life was 1967 when my sister(hubby & daughter) allowed me to cram into the back seat for a few days in Sanibel Island. I still have the boxes of shells I toted home. It was heaven on earth to me. I walked 4 hours on the beach every morning till the last day - heavy rain stopped me :hit

Governor has mumbled May 15, but that will never happen. There are still way too many daily deaths in NJ, NY, Conn., Mass., and now even is Pa.

Miss the beagle club ? It's only .4 miles away and the perfect place to shelter in place. :p It's very rare that anyone else is there. Ironically I find myself with 4 pretty darn good young dogs and no place to compete.

The numbers are going up here still and will likely not hit this waves first peak until mid may. Then you have to wait at least 14 days to start opening back up.

My Boss thinks we are going back to work on May 1st and thinks that the Dean's office of our college will decide when we go back. Our Chancellor says He will go by what the State and County decide.
