Interesting trip to the park. There was a runner there with 4 dogs off leash. She got off the main path into the soccer fields, but one dog thought it was a good idea to get aggressive towards the Princess and then came towards me. As the small dog got near me a large lab/chessy cross joined it and charged at me. I stood still and used my BIG voice, and they stopped a short distance from me. I will be carrying a heavy cane next time we go to the park. Several years ago a pair of staffordshire/pitt crosses came at me in the same park. I assured the owner that she had better control them - I had my cane at that time. Why do some think the rules don't apply to them ?
Happy you're both ok, I would definitely carry a stick. Are dogs allowed off leash in the park?

A cane or walking stick sounds like a good idea Sour. Glad you and the Princess weren't harmed.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what this is?
You're kidding? Have you never seen the Alien movies? That's one of the creepy little :rantthat attaches to your face and plants an alien embryo that breaks out of your chest and kills you. Then it grows up

I would carry a gun.

Sorry that happened to you, Sour!! Glad you guys are okay!! I would think even if dogs were allowed off leash, she would have kept them on leash if they were aggressive!!! But of course most people tend to think their “babies” would never hurt a fly.

But if someone can’t control their dogs, they shouldn’t have them off leash!! Let alone 4 of them!!! I love dogs and I like them to have freedom as much as anyone but if they’re aggressive or don’t have an excellent recall or whatever other reason, they should not be off leash.

They have long leashes or even e collars to allow for freedom while still maintaining control of the dog. I’ve always used long lines but considering switching as carrying 50 feet of 1 inch leash (I use thicker ones cause I’m usually with big dogs) isn’t exactly ideal 😂🤣🙈

But some people don’t want to train or just think their dog should be “free” or “be a dog” or “he’s friendly” or whatever else.

Anywho, sorry that happened to you. Did she even notice? I’ve seen many people here use their phones while their dog is a million feet away of a flexi lead, often yapping at another dog or in the road, and they don’t even notice or care.

No, dogs are not allowed off leash. We've seen her before, but this is the first time the dogs have been aggressive. Of course it was a Chihuahua that started the whole deal. Not worried about the ankle biter, but his back up was a big dog. The other two - looked like border collie crosses - were non aggressive. If push comes to shove, I will get her license plate and turn her in, but don't want to do anything that will cause the park to shut down.

@KDOGG331 she was fully aware of what happened, and did her best to get the dogs off of the path, but the ankle biter had different ideas.

No, I don’t.

I just got done painting the walls of my bedroom. I hope it only takes one coat but I doubt I’m that lucky. I still have to paint around trim and do all the corners :sick After 45 minutes of stirring it up it would not combine. I called the store and they told me to bring it in. Long story...paint was bad! He mixed me another...paint was bad again. Upgraded to $45 can(on them)...paint is good. I had them check the other can I bought for my other bedroom and that was fine.
