The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I don't know about there but here people are mostly being really good about wearing masks in the store. They've got all the aisles marked 1 way (which is a bit of a pain if you want something 3/4 down a "wrong way" aisle and have no need of anything in the aisle next to it but you have to go all the way down it to get to the one you want while waiting for those in the aisle to move along). 6' marks on the floor for getting to the checkout and limits on the number of people in the store at one time.

Still can't find any sink/counter cleanser, I really don't understand that. Generally no TP either though I did find a 6 pack of double rolls of the brand we use 2 weeks ago - the ONE package of TP on the shelf. Just opened it yesterday as my normal purchase is the 9 triple rolls and had bought one the end of February.

Masks are required at the small family owned market I frequent. They shut down for a few weeks of "email order, pick up outside, $50 minimum no deli" but last Monday they opened from 3 PM to 7 PM and the deli is open - Yay!!!
If you have dish soap and baking soda it works great on the sinks.

We are to remain in shutdown until further notice. Drop in the infection curve, expanded testing, contact tracing, isolation for positive cases = goals to be reached before reopening. Folks here, at least in my rural community, are good about masks and social distancing - so far incidence in my county is among the lowest 3 in the state.
I like the sound of that, sounds like your governor has a good head on his/her shoulders. I don't think ours has been blessed with the same unfortunately.

Ya know, I get protesting, and if you want to take chances, what the heck go for it. But where does the idea that messing with anyone else's health is acceptable come from. Licking carts - sheer stupidity - may karma strike. It will be for the betterment of the gene pool.
:love :yesss:

There’s a few people wearing masks. Most places that are open have put up Plexiglass to separate workers from customers. I bring wipes with wherever I go.
The guy is a realist - we really have no idea about what is going to happen. He's not giving false hope. The number of deaths although decreasing has now passed 6,000.
We are at 286.
People here were being good for a while, but they're starting to come unhinged. There was a group of protesters last week at Wal-Mart.... going around licking carts. :smack🤬
Maybe it's the altitude... not enough oxygen to their brains. 🤔
Wow, gross!

I greeted a person that started raising chickens by purchasing 24 Cornish X. Even built a very nice coop for them with a run. They do know that they are meat birds but has never processed any before. They will have help but I do not know about this one
sure hope they learn and not turned off by the process

Another thing that hasn't been on the shelves for the last 2 months.
