We got almost an inch the other day. It was so needed. I can’t get over how fast things grow when it rains vs watering yourself.morning everyone
gonna be a pretty day here today, yesterday we got a nice rain that we needed badly, going out this morning and check my peas, some were almost ready thurs when i re picked the spinach, maybe not enough to freeze but maybe a mess to eat for dinner

I believe you’re right. I think there’s more with a thunderstorm which is what we got. I could be wrong...it’s happened several times in my lifePlants do like rain better than hose water! Seems like years ago someone told me it was partly due to more nitrogen in rain. I'm no plant scientist so could be remembering that wrong.
