Ok, the car is where it should be but the damage is over $8k!
Wow, doesn't look THAT bad doesn't even seem like the trunk lid was hit. Must be a lot of "internal organ" damage.

Well, my car is missing. I esigned documents for the collision place Friday afternoon after getting verbal confirmation of delivery. Never heard from anyone yesterday so I call today and the girl told me my car isn't there. I'm about to lose my mind. How the hell can anyone misplace a bright red sedan?
EASY! When I was hit Feb last year at 8 AM I called AAA and told them which body shop to take it to. Then the ambulance took me to the ER. When I got home about 2 PM I called the body shop. Adam said "no car here". Knowing there is only 1 AAA tower up here I called them in St. Albans 4 miles from my house. No car there either. They said try their other location in Enosburgh - 23 miles from my home. Yep they have it. Turns out when the St. A guy got there the state police were busy investigating so they went to another call. Apparently no one told the Enosburgh guy where he was supposed to take it so he took it "home". Not real convenient.

Our chickens don't like the rain. Yesterday I let them out and we had a light shower of rain come across. They all headed straight back inside their coop.
My chickens are nearly that wussy!

DH took one look and said, 'great a torpedo egg'. Darned thing won't fit in the egg carton, it's too long.
Sure it will! Just don't try to close the carton. I bet a torpedo is a lot more comfortable than a baseball.

It's the angle of the pics, I was trying to keep my plate out of anything I post online.

Maybe by the time your spring rolls around, your chicklets will be ready to give you some eggs.

I'm hoping October/November might bring some joy duck eggs wise as well as the chicks.

It didn't help that a rat shared his red mites with the chickens as he tried to chew his way into their coop and it took months for me to get on top of them. It drove me (and I'm sure the chickens) nuts. I tried everything! The poor chickens stopped laying because of that, so we've been without home grown eggs for quite awhile now. We couldn't lure the rat to take the bait of the fancy, expensive rat trap we bought so we did resort to poison.

Then in autumn came the great mouse plague so more poison went out. I'm hoping our ducks will hunt them next autumn!
