Do your cats go outside?

The two we have now do not go outside so I have not had any flea bites since the last cats passed away. We did not have cats for a couple of years. It has been nice to not have to deal with fleas!

Fleas from cats bite you once or twice and die. Look for fleas or the crud fleas like on the cats skin. If you find it, it is time to treat! Costco sells the good stuff

At least our walmart is taking it seriously. There's a sign out front and if you don't wear a mask you don't go in.

It has been suggested that all the laid off bar bouncers get hired to cover the doors to other businesses. Sounds like a good idea, they have experience dealing with belligerent people.

That one is false according to the study the CDC posted a couple of days ago. If masks did not protect against a virus, why do Medical personnel wear them?

Depends on the mask type? I've heard the same thing, that wearing a cloth mask won't save you from someone coughing in your direction (though I would think it would help) but if you cough the "droplets" won't go through the mask thus the virus won't either. One thing for sure, we STILL don't know everything we need to about this virus.

Apparently he was tinkering around that area a couple days ago and when he moved the washer, the drain hose came loose.

Hey folks, it's great to have Sue home!!! I hope to get her back out here soon, but the screen causes headaches. The doc said today based on her stellar progress, he expects a full recovery, but it will be months of rehab to get there.

I totally agree! Everything I’ve bought the last several months have been bruised.

I've had a little bruising but I can NOT for my life find a decent potato for oven fries or mashed. Too waxy. I need Perry's potato crop to not get rained out then frozen into the ground again this year! I don't remember what variety of white potatoes he plants but they are GOOD.

Where would you get a wolf spider anyway?

Um, in the basement of our prior house? DD1, who will now SCREAM HER GUTS OUT!!!!!!!! if she sees a spider so small she has to point to it so I can find it took a 3" wolf spider for show and tell in Kindergarten. 22 years ago and with the teachers permission.

Who is Perry?

Farmer from the farmer's market. DDs and I are now friends with him and his wife, they live about 10 miles from us. We buy all our ground beef from them. They raise black angus and for the ease of things, everything is made into ground beef. They raise veggies too and have a really big greenhouse full of tomatoes grown up wires.

I gave him a black light so he could more easily spot the dang hornworms. He pulls them off in 5 gallon bucket quantities! Gross.
