Good morning. No painting, it has been really hot, 115, 116, 117 all week. I've been taking care of the animals and my plants instead. It's kinda warm inside too, best we can do is about 80, so not great painting weather.

With those crazy temps, I think you're doing good to take care of the animals and plants. Any end in sight to the heat?

No, my sister was supposed to come so we kept the weekend open. We are hooking up with them the last Friday in August at a campground an hour from here. We may get one in before that and it will probably be our last for the season as harvest will start.

With those crazy temps, I think you're doing good to take care of the animals and plants. Any end in sight to the heat?

Not really, only 2 days out of the next 7 are supposed to be under 110. Overnight temps are running about 90 and then there's the wind. This is a really tough summer, might break the record for number of days over 110 this year.

guess i'm back, thanks everyone
got some garden things canned while waiting for shirley to come back, shes here now waiting for us to take her home if we get to go to florida this nov, and it helped keep my mind off things, just have the paper work to do now
its been kinda hot here and a few times we had to water things but on the whole, i much prefer it hot than cold, so hows everyone doing, anything happen i should know right away or can i read til i catch up?

I can't believe it's August already. It's our daughters birthday on the 10th and it just hadn't occurred to me that it was that close until my Mum asked what was happening.

Everything thinks its spring here too. I've got 2 little peach trees I grew from seed and they are both sprouting leaves already. We were also glad the farmer moved his bulls from where they were right next to our place. They were bellowing at all hours.

Hi Sue! We are getting awesome timely rains. Everything is green and lush, thanks thoughWe are supposed to get a few day’s in the 70’s. I’m hoping we can shut the air off. I love having my windows open. Have a great Saturday also.
