The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone. Expecting state wide thunderstorms on top of still close to a million customers without power. I predict a statewide uptick in Covid cases. :(
:frow Good morning Sour, stay dry and safe and try to have a great day

@rjohns39 I think it was you that talked about crockpot recipes a while back?

This is one we really enjoy, maybe it's something you'd like to try.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

3 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Cup ketchup
1/3 Cup molasses
1/3 Cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
** we thought it needed a bit more heat so I add 3 Tablespoons Sriracha sauce to the mix

Put the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot. Whisk the other ingredients together and pour over the chicken. Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 3-4 hours until chicken is tender enough to shred.

This makes plenty for several sandwiches or however else you'd like to have it.

Good morning Sour, hope they get the power back to all those customers soon.

I've book marked it. Thanks.
So far we've made beef tacos, chicken&shrimp Jambalaya, beef & broccoli, and Tuscan Chicken. Italian sausage is on the list along with some Thai choices.
