I add various things in with the grass. The last stuff had clover and yarrow. I might add wheat or milo to it this fall though.

I love hummingbirds. My grandmother always had feeders out. We used to go out & hold our hands near it hoping they would sit on our fingers. They would come close to doing so. They became so used to us, we could stand there & they would still eat!

I had one female drink out of the feeder while I was holding it to put up on the bracket!
