The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We had one fly in our front door in Canada! It was stuck in the house for a while.
husband had one little hen fly into the work van window and knock herself out hitting the windshield , he brought her to me and i held her until she came to and could fly off, after that for years she would find me and hover above my head when i was outside, if hanging up clothes, she would land right by my hand, for years she would always find me when she came back from her winter place, then after about five years, never saw her again. they will tame down real quick and buzz you if they know you

Good morning folks :frow

You are in PA. Be sure it's a steam juicer and not a still? :lau
I could tell you how to build one of those too ;)

they say its going to be another hot one today, i don't mind but i do mind not having any rain lately, yesterday storms went all around us but we didn't get one drop of rain, yet about half a mile away, it poured:idunno
everyone make it a good day
:frowGood morning Sharron, have a great day

morning rj :frow
i ordered the steamer, should get it monday evening, now to learn how to use it.
i feel so dumb with new stuff, did i say i hate change :gig
It's really easy Sharron. Put water in the bottom with a little white vinegar (helps with clean up), chop up the veg and put in the upper tray and turn on the fire at about medium or medium low. You'll need some kind of glove to keep from burning yourself when you squeeze open the clamp to let the juice flow. What comes out of the tube is really hot. If memory serves this recipe fills the collection tray 3 times.
Good morning Bob, have a great Sunday! So what's this about still building?

Hi Sharron, hope you get some rain soon!
Debby, when you travel the world you pickup skills. :gig When I was in Saudi, it was my goal in life to produce a distilled product that was nearly as good as the real stuff. At one point, I had 25 different labels that I was selling. I got $25 a copy for my cookbook and sold out just before leaving. It all started with an old book I found in the library. It was a how to hand book for the early settlers going west. That coupled with some modern chemistry, and spending a little time with some brew masters taught me a lot.

People were happy to pay $25 for a 1 liter bottle. My most popular was Rum and 30 day old bourbon, which was just bourbon flavored rum. I think Gin and Vodka were next up on the list. Twice while I was there, I was sent to Dammam to unload a C-130 for a member of the royal family. It was full of Jack Daniels. :gig
