The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I applaud you. :bow:bow:bow
Oh believe me it wasn't willpower, it was fear! My heart would beat so fast it would flutter and just stop altogether. But when my doctor ordered me a home defibrillator and had my DH take a class on using it..... I decided maybe I could learn to be a carnivore. 😳
Fear is a great motivator lol

But on the upside, it's amazing if you want to lose weight. I went from 370+ pounds to 132 pounds in a little over two years 😬
That's so awesome Chrissy!:highfive: I dropped 60 in 7 months down to 131 and felt so much healthier! I've put a few back on and don't feel as healthy, tired, achy joints, brain fog, so back to taking better care of myself again!

I gained (ahem) a few.... pounds earlier this year when I quit smoking. Boy I could definitely feel it! I've managed to lose most of it though and I feel so much better :)
Congratulations on kicking that habit...with the weight loss and getting rid of the cancer sticks...you've definitely extended your life! Way to take your health into your own hands! 💞

I have to say though, I love my "fat" pictures... I get a real kick out of showing them to people who didn't know me back then. They can't believe that was me :p
I had some friends say the same thing about me with just the 60lb loss...it was an amazing feeling to find myself again!

Here's some more cuteness for you all. I'll try and get some better photos later - they are all a bit sleepy still at the moment.

I want to keep track of which chicks hatched from the bluer eggs (some are quite olive) so Fuzzy got dyed last night. I think more dye ended up on my DD and me than him, but his head and back are quite blue now.

Fuzzy wasn't overly impressed at being put back in the incubator last night - it took me 3 tries to make him stay in there, then he realised he could hear other voices. I woke up to 3 more hatched or in the process of hatching. 2 from the partridge eggs have come out light coloured so it'll be fun to see how they turn out. There are 6 more partridge eggs to go so we'll see what hatches.
