That's actually pretty normal for us! We usually don't get to much rain until October and it stays fairly warm until Halloween when the freezing weather hits!

Morning, everyone. I haven't checked in for a few days. You all sure talk a lot

We had an interesting day yesterday. Seems my neighbor 2 doors down special ordered a new smokestack and cap for his wood stove to be installed yesterday. It also seems we have the exact same size and height for ours. The installer came to the house and told my husband they were here to install it and that I had ordered it. He said to go ahead. Well, we have a bright shiny new smokestack and chimney cap and the neighbor doesn't. We don't know if they are going to come and put the old one back on or just order the neighbors a new assembly. They are supposed to let us know today what's going on. If they leave it, we will offer to pay for it. Mistakes happen and they had to drive an hour to get over here. Plus it's really pretty.

That's great ! I would have done the same as your husband.
