we used to go out two times a year,spring and fall to the sale, then three when they started a third sale in nov. i used to raise hookbills and would go out to see if they had anything i wanted, usually there was, but got away from it when we retired and i had to sell my breeders to travel with husband to florida
saw animals there you only see at zoo's, white tigers , guess they were older cubs but under 40 lbs, buffalo. both bison and water, you name it, it was usually there

That is good to hear!

A bunch of fires burned together here and is now called the August complex fire. It is at 776,000 acres and getting bigger. As the largest fire ever in California, It will burn until it rains...likely in November.

I suspect we will have smokey days for quite some time here but hopefully not as bad as it is now

I'm not sure if it was a nap or just going back to bed :lol:

Allergies were causing me trouble in the middle of last night. And of course, I can't seem to remember to take my medicine for them :rolleyes:

But all is well now and ready for a good day!

Rene, are you and g-son having fun (silly question I know)?

Allergies are no fun! I'm glad that you were able to get some more rest. I have a hard time remembering to take meds too!

I love every minute with him, even when he's grumpy, which he was this morning! I think his tummy was bothering him. :( We got through it & he is now sleeping peacefully for his first nap of the day! 💞
