The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

My grandkids started back to school a couple of weeks ago, so naturally two of them have a runny nose. The school called my DD and had her come pick all four kids up. They told her she has to either get a covid test done, or quarantine them at home for 14 days. The clinic that does the testing can't fit them in until the 28'th, so she's just gonna quarantine them. That means I don't get to have them until their 14 days are up.

I sure hope they get better soon, poor things. That's crazy that there's such a wait time to get a test done!

Please take a moment of silence and think about those who we lost 19 years ago. I was fortunate in that I got all my guys back whole, but I lost a lot of friends. On Aug 28th I was at the bar having a great time with the first fire rescue squad who perished in the south tower.

Sorry to be such a downer....

You aren't being a downer - it's very important to remember all the brave people who lost their lives trying to save others. I even get a pang of sadness if I happen to look at a clock when it says 9:11 no matter what day of the year it is. It was a tragic day.

I don't think the school year is going to be a very productive one...if they send kids home every time they get the sniffles! I'm sorry that you won't be able to see them!

I think a note about hand washing the mugs is going to be added to the store.

But for anyone that already has one, it might be helpful to pass the word along.

Maybe just hang them up for decoration!

Bob, I don't think anyone who witnessed the attacks, most of us via TV or computer, can forget. Much harder on those that were there and knew people who died or were injured.

Sorry to hear that Chrissy. Don't most kids get runny noses? It's going to be a crazy school year!
