I got to see some of the Budweiser Clydesdales in St. Louis one time. Wow, those horses are enormous! Even the young colt they had was taller than me. Pretty impressive animals!

They are definitely magnificent! I've seen Clydesdales at the fair...pretty cool that you got to see the actual Budweiser Clydesdales!

That sounds like a great afternoon outing and the pizza sounds yummy. I would love to go somewhere away from these four walls, Other than the grocery store

thought about you and the princess this morning as i was picking yellow beans, wishing i could get some to you(haven't figured out a way yet)

We are actually going to 'do' something today. We'll take an afternoon trip to a small town about an hour north of here. There's a restaurant with a large outdoor porch, and I am feeling the need for a margherita pizza and an excuse to stretch my legs.

Sounds like a great time Sour! Are the trees up that way starting to turn fall colors yet?

Trees are not turning yet. Some of the brush/shrubs at the beagle club are turning a bit. We haven't been close to a frost yet. May get down to the 40's tonight.

We had a nice 'outing'. Apparently the restaurant we planned to eat at has fallen victim to the pandemic. It was closed with a 'For sale by owner' sign. Not a good time to try to sell a restaurant. We found an Italian restaurant with outdoor dining and had a nice meal. Princess got to do some shopping, and I went to the bulk candy store - arthritis be damned ! It was a beautiful day with temperature topping out at 74 F.

Sorry about the restaurant Sour, I'm afraid that's going to be a regular sight. But nice you found a good Italian place for lunch! Ooh, bulk candy store...that could be trouble (but fun)!
