College cat/rescued feral kitten found its way home to Mom and Dad. I had told her, "No way!" She came home for a weekend with the kitten. I sat down in the living room. Kitten crossed the floor, climbed my leg, perched on my shoulder and started purring. It never went back to college. She remained a wild creature for all of her life and could be aggressive to all but me.

Afternoon all.
I was just watching the news and it seems there have been a lot of birds literally falling out of the sky dead, no solid numbers but possibly in the hundreds of thousands across the Southwest. Drought, smoke from the fires killing food supply and forcing migration without the birds having enough fat and weight to make it etc are possible causes. Scary stuff.

Our day started out with an appointment with the eye doctor that was long overdue, after that grocery shopping and home again to briefly lose power.

I need to get to the eye Dr.! My prescription is low. But first things first. Surgery in this shoulder. Ugh.. right one.
