The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

A late good morning to everyone!

We got about an inch of snow last night. As cold as it's going to be today, don't think this is melting any time soon.

DMC, sorry to hear about the virus cases increasing around you. As others have already said, take care of yourself and stay safe.

Rene, since you've had lots of recent moving experience, want to come help me?

Hope everyone has a good Monday, you all take care!
We got an inch of rain this morning. There was only a 30% chance.
Good morning DMC! We had on the day we drove up to our sons, thankfully it stopped long enough for the move. Is your snow gone?

Have a good day! :)
Hi there! Yes, our snow is gone. We had a week of 70 plus degrees. It was beautiful
It is very sad!

My SIL had two old folks that live at the home she works at catch covid a second time and die after surviving the first time.
That’s sad! Do you think that they ever got rid of it in the first place?

Granddaughter on the goat slide.

70's that's great. We had those temps last week too, but I think they are gone for the rest of the year!

I get it, especially the mask. I understand both sides of the quarantine thing though. It isn’t always paid even if you get it in the course of your employment and people have kids to feed. There are a lot of people who are hanging on by a thread and some that fell off the end before they could tie a knot in it.
Not financially taking care of those that need to quarantine is a failure for sure.

Hopefully that will change in the near future. Continuing to work with something as deadly as covid-19 will lead to more death-- and then not being able to support the family.

Economic reasons for not protecting health does seem more real than the life style argument for mask wearing.

This was posted on the church website and is infuriating! Our county is about to go back to the purple level and this church will be closed to services by next Sunday if so:

We are now offering a second service at 10:30am. You must RSVP for this service. We understand that right now there are people with different needs, feelings, and preferences concerning covid-19. Our desire is to structure a worship service that will remove distractions and enable those who are more cautious to be able to worship God comfortably. We will cap attendance at 12% and masks must be worn the entire time you are present. You can RSVP by click the button below.

The 9 am service is not following the counties guidelines now-- number in the building, wear masks, social distancing. I can see it on the video. If you love your flock, you would do the things listed for the 10:30 service for both services!

I wonder if the church is sanitized between services?

Thanks Sue, I try hard but hubby is better at fencing than I. However he didn't offer to do it, so I just went for it. I got the gate up today, and hung another gate up by the Barnyard. Chickens went all the way up to our mailbox today, so more wire got strung. And I need to build yet another gate!

You go girl !! Sometimes that what we must do, just get it done no matter what. One more gate, that's great 😊.

Aww how cute 😍 and she's having fun!!
