Nothing so dramatic. I had met her at a party. On the way home from the party I got a speeding ticket and had to go back to court. Prior to court I went to her office at the ag campus and told her I was probably going to lose my license, but if I didn't would she go out with me. I didn't lose my license, she went out with me, I went back to college, we got married, and the rest is history. Who knows what would have been if the judge had taken my license?

Well at least it wasn’t so dramatic and turned out to be a good ice breaker.

Ice was shattered at the party. I was bartender, she was not 'into' her date so spent the night talking with me. We have never run out of things to say. It was destined.
