Fishing has never been my thing, however I did catch a nice one with my foster dad a very long time ago. I never learned how to clean fish and I am very picky about what I eat from the water. DH has always been a fisher and hunter until he joined the military, then there was really no time.

Thank you. He's soooooo loving always reaching for me or the dog and both of us if he can even his littlepaw on the dog as he lays on my lap. So many of these little ones are just dumped. They are so grateful when you take them in. I hope you'll find another one or they find you, many older cat's are left abandoned when their owners pass away.

Having another cat would be lovely, but it will have to wait awhile or I might just live off everyone else's pictures

As a kid I did a lot of night fishing with my best friend. We'd catch a batch, generally eels and catfish, take them home, and my Mom would clean and cook them for breakfast. As long as we caught some eels for her we were golden boys. Good memory.

thank goodness for our childhood, most of the kids today have missed out of these times with their parents

Speaking of cats, my Opie boy isn't feeling or acting right so he's off to the vet later this morning. Poor guy, I just hate seeing him not acting himself.

Hope he get a clean bill of health from the vet, maybe he just ate something that he shouldn't have Maybe he is sensing the move and is worried about it ? I'll keep my fingers crossed it's nothing !!

I wonder if stress isn't part of it, things are in a bit of a "state" right now. He hasn't been himself since yesterday (along with diarrhea and some vomiting). It's times like this I wish animals could speak English. Or that I could speak cat.

Us too Sour! Maybe our parents were just glad to get us out of the house, but we were pretty much set free every day (other than school) and on our own. We could go almost anywhere our feet or bikes could carry us.

i could never say i was picky sue, we ate what we could catch or daddy shot, to buy a piece of meat in the store was a real treat, and the water was a heck of a lot cleaner in those days
