That's good news!I'm happy to report Opie is back to his usual ornery self![]()
Thank you Sue!Good morning Renehave a good Sunday !
Congrats on the 2nd new baby Jae! Do you have a name for that one yet? Sounds like Cracker is going to have you well trained in no time![]()
So happy the second egg hatched for you Jae!
It could be breeding season for the possums in your neck of the woods Jae, otherwise they are solitary as I remember. Or are they babies you’re catching?
Congratulations on the 2nd baby Jae...sounds like they are bottomless pits! What do you feed them?
That is a lot of possums...hopefully you've caught the last of them.
He’s feeling fine but he’s irritated about his bandage lol. I had to rewrap it this morning because the one the dr put on was falling off and he was helping it along some.Good morning IM! I hope Frank is better today!![]()
Oh, too much work for me lady! I went to the grocery store and put those away, that’s the extent of my gumption today. Except to give the ducklings fresh water in their pool.Good morning IM! Enjoy your lazy day.
I just vacuumed my house and scrubbed the kitchen floor. I’m heading out to the shop shortly to sand my main bathroom vanity to reuse in the basement bathroom.
Good morning Rene! I think in reverseWe are going to try and get the shower put in today. We had to rebuild the back of the shower wall because the plumbing was put in for a tub and the way it was put in the shower would not fit. We should have just put in another tub but we’re looking towards the future.
They will follow through or they will lose employees. It may not be what we want but hopefully it’s better then we’re expecting.
Thank you!
Cracker does seem to be living up to his name lol. I hope your trap is empty this morning! My day is going to plan so far. We have a Star Wars marathon on the TV and the pups are snuggly.I was going to take a photo this morning but Cracker got stuck on feeding auto pilot and anything he touched he thought would feed him. He was spinning around and around in their little bowl nest (with a very full crop). No name for the second one yet but it does seem calmer than its older sibling. Cracker sure is crackers so he's living up to his name.
We've caught 2 males, one rather large, and the rest were adult females. They only have 1-2 babies a year, generally in autumn, sometimes in spring, and yet there are millions of them as there's nothing to eat them.
Hope your lazy Sunday is going to plan.
I've got special hand rearing formula the chicks eat. Parent birds can get away with stuffing them silly, but I don't want to overstretch their crops as you can then run into trouble with them not emptying properly.
We haven't been up to the trap yet as it's still early here, but I'll be amazed if we get another. They eat native trees as well as raiding birds nests for eggs and chicks, so hopefully we can put a dent in their population here and help the birds out a bit.
I would have love to see him spinning around...you should get some video!I was going to take a photo this morning but Cracker got stuck on feeding auto pilot and anything he touched he thought would feed him. I hope all is well there!Ugh, packing. I hate the packing and moving part. Opening the unmarked boxes to put stuff away is kind of like ChristmasHow are the girls doing? Are taking the cats this trip?
Frank is ok but was pretty stoned last night. Wanted to play ball and bark at stuff out front but every time he got up he said forget it, laid back down and went back to sleep. He was clingy, no dad it had to be mom he laid with.
We have Hope today so she’s going out to see the ducks. I got a paint tray to give them a swimming hole as I noticed they were trying to float in the drinking water yesterdayIgor needs to work on flat tires on Hope’s bike, then I’m kicking everyone out to get some sun and have some fun while I clean house a bit. Might make some brownies with the kids this afternoon.
Wow! Did you get shocked too?got a boo-boo today, was trying to unplug the phone charger from the outlet and the receptible arched, thought i had done something wrong when i snatched my hands away and sparks flew all over the floor, when i could think straight, called husband and told him i broke the outlet, could he fix it so i could use it, well, he tried to take the other phone charger out and it did the same to him, different plug in but anyway, now not only is my thumb messed up from arthritis but now its burned too, sigh, just can't win for losing but at least the black soot washed off
Good morning/afternoon everybody![]()
I hope all is well there!
We are one step closer to a new lockdown here and are not supposed to go places
