Very true! And they're still learning how to navigate emotions. I asked my 5 y.o. why he destroys his toys and his response was "because I'm a kid and that's what kids do" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It reminds me of this quote, "the days are long and the years are short." They grow too fast... way too fast.

We started on the basement bathroom the end of October. We started on the main bath the week of Thanksgiving. We just had a couple carpenters add on a small mudroom. That took less then 2 days but we have to finish the walls and flooring. I don’t know how anyone survives building a new house. I’d go completely bonkers!

I wish I would have done something like that...you don't think you'll ever forget...but sadly you do.
It's been a busy day, just getting ready for Christmas. I am looking forward to celebrating with our first grandbaby (and the rest of the family too...), he's almost 9 months old & fills our hearts & lives with so much joy & love!
