Good moorning Mad I just have the usual picking up stuff to do this morning...the real cleaning comes after DH leaves

What do you have lined up for today?

Hahaha I know how that goes!
Definitely clean/finish what I didn't do this weekend
Had to do errands for DH and that took time out of my day, and I felt pretty lazy but, it's okay. The kids don't have school today so that will make catching up with chores much easier.

How's the cold there this morning?

Hopefully, today will be a cleaning day as Todd puts hair everywhere .

Everyone is doing good, staying busy with school and work. Staying away from people as much as possible, shopping is the only time around others. I think we are all getting tired of being stuck at home, but it's better than getting sick. Thank you for asking .

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Sadly our little Cracker (the oldest cockatiel chick that had the crop that never emptied properly) died overnight. He'd started to eat seeds but I think that was just too much for him and that he couldn't digest them properly. His crop never went sour or hard, but I think it just plain hasn't ever worked as it should have.

But the other two are just gorgeous. They both tried out their wings today. Carol is the more confident of the two, even though she's younger, and she's very smart. She's really cuddly too, enjoying having her head scritched.

They don't like being stuck in their cage anymore - they want out!

A friend's daughter has come to stay for 4 days. She's animal mad so she's fitting in just fine here!

I am sorry to hear that He did not make it.

No snow in Big Bear or Arrowhead this year?

There is less than normal...but we are under a regional stay at home order.

CA had nearly 700 people die in one day this week

Big bear is 489 miles from be and a nearly 8 hour trip. Arrowhead is 470 miles and 7 and a half hours away.

Tahoe is closer but still takes more than 3 hours to get to

Sorry I was a So Cal person so always think of those places, Tahoe didn’t occur to me. I know you guys are on stay at home orders right now, I’ve had to put quite a few of my accounts in disaster relief from CA. It’s crazy! AZ was leading in a bad way for a while, but I have skipped the news for a few days other than weather reports so I don’t know where we stand.

I know you guys are on stay at home orders right now, I’ve had to put quite a few of my accounts in disaster relief from CA. It’s crazy! AZ was leading in a bad way for a while, but I have skipped the news for a few days other than weather reports so I don’t know where we stand.

AZ and CA have both been very bad. I think Iowa and TX too.

We are in the highest tier now. Shasta county further north is not doing well either. California is an odd place! Up there is quite "Conservative" with many not believing in PPP measures.

The temp where DH is at is 9* and where I am it's 28* (which is chilly but at least it's double digits).

Are you home schooling Mad or are your kids in regular school?

Hahahah I know how that hair gets everywhere. I have 2 huskies and I'll vacuum every corner but by the end of the day, it's still there

Oh that's so true! I would rather be stuck at home than sick. Grocery shopping and errands seem to be the simple pleasures of the outside world these days. Glad you're all staying healthy.

We are all doing well. Quarantined since DH sister left but I had to run errands yesterday. They got tested before coming but I am paranoid of any exposure from the travel.

I like staying informed but it gets overwhelming sometimes. When you're falling asleep and your brain decides it's the perfect time to think about problems in the world and if you're prepared or not. Ughhh!

Ahhhhh 9° that's so cold. It's not nearly that cold here but I'm outside wearing 3 pairs of socks, warm shoes and my toes are still cold!

They're doing the whole virtual learning from home. It's been an interesting experience but we're finally getting a groove, which is nice!
