The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You also Bob!

I have not gotten off the couch. I’m on my second cup of coffee and thinking about making breakfast. I have a mountain of laundry to do and hubby said something about sanding and putting in the shower downstairs. All kinds of fun things to do:lol:How about you?

I woke up extra early then went back to bed. I'm ready for breakfast now, what's on the menu DMC? :D

I know I'm sitting here in the dark again.
It's been a little over a year since my wife killed herself. 38 years gone in a minute. I miss my wife every minute of every day. The pain doesn't go away. It really sucks.

I've known some of you for years.
Thank you for your friendship is meant allot to me.
Please hang out in our shanty Phil! I believe you are right, the pain will only diminish and that only over a long period. Chat with us, give your mind something else to think about. Find some YouTube channels to follow, there are likely some good ones that are about things you like.
:hugs

They like to eat chicken too!
Yep, mine eat most anything related to meat. DW doesn't want me to give the girls the larger bones when we roast a chicken. And no, they aren't from chickens that my girls would have known.

I have trouble eating walnuts too!
I have no trouble because I detest walnuts and won't eat them or anything with them inside.
Glad Beetov-Hen is doing OK Feather.

But so do those stinging nettles that grow crazy here, this time of year.
Those and burdock are my main PITA plants. Neither the chickens nor the alpacas will eat either. I do my best to pull them or cut them short so they can maybe die off.

I take one a day. I was wondering why my eyes feel dry all the time...maybe that’s my problem. I actually started putting eye drops in.
I have dry eyes, drops several times a day, gel at night. The optometrist has me taking ProDHA Eye twice a day for it. I have no idea what that is supposed to do or if it is doing anything at all. I hope it is because it is EXPENSIVE and non prescription.

I just checked our weather for today and we're going to break into the 40's! :celebrate

There's a number we haven't seen for a while.
Here either. In fact we forgot to have our annual January thaw this year! To qualify the temp has to be above freezing for a contiguous 24 hours. First time it hasn't happened in the 40 winters I've lived through here (dang I'm gettin' OLD!)
