Hope everyone has a great Friday. :frow

I had to clean the chicks brooder out today so the kids looked after everyone in the bathroom while I did a bedding change. The chicks loved the freedom and Lucky the Turkey seemed to like it too. Turkeys are just so different in their behaviour. They are quite calm and deliberate and slow, whereas the chicken chicks are madness with wings, so super duper excited about everything. Turkeys just don't have the same enthusiasm.

DH is picking me up 2 white turkey chicks on Monday as friends for Lucky. I told him that's my Valentines gift. His reply was "why am I always giving you birds?" :gig

Hi Jae, that's great Lucky will have turkey friends! I think birds are a great present for you for any occasion :D Interesting to hear how the turkeys are so different from chicks.
